Not another showroom review.
The Reviewed Van starts with the build and keeps going after the cameras would normally stop. Products are designed into the van, installed, used, abused, changed when necessary and revisited over time.
The question isn't simply which product wins. It's whether a product deserves the money, weight, space and inconvenience it asks a working campervan to give up.
What gets tested.
Complete-system reality
Weight means the finished system: brackets, bolts, wiring, panels, hardware and all. Not the flattering number on the box.
Space Tax
Every object consumes living space, payload or convenience. If it earns that sacrifice, it stays. If it doesn't, it goes.
Long-term verdicts
A first impression isn't a lifetime verdict. Conclusions can change after installation, travel, weather, wear and failure.
Mistakes stay visible
If the builder causes the failure, that's part of the evidence. If advice turns out to be wrong, that belongs in the record too.
Environmental cost
Packaging, waste, repairability, durability, energy use, reuse and end-of-life matter alongside performance.
Independent results
Supplied equipment can be tested. Sponsorship can be disclosed. Neither buys a favourable conclusion.

The project is being developed around a working 2016 IVECO Daily campervan — not a pristine studio shell.
The architecture is intended to remain changeable: structure, interfaces and panels that can survive the project changing its mind as evidence arrives.
